Trademark Cancellation
A trademark registration may be canceled by another party. Grounds for canceling a trademark include likelihood of confusion, priority, genericness, descriptiveness, geographic deception, bad faith, and fraud. To initiate trademark cancellation, one files a petition with the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
